Christ Episcopal Church, Almaden, is seeking a Director of Music. Christ Church is a vibrant faith community rooted in the Episcopal tradition and adapting to meet the needs of the world around us. Sunday morning worship is the fulcrum of parish life, and our music program sets the tone for the service. We have children & youth choirs led by a volunteer director, singing in the service approximately quarterly. A recent parish survey regarding service music revealed that the congregation values the current anglican-rooted music program, with a willingness to explore different styles and modes to support their spirituality.

The Music Director plays a key role in the enrichment and spirituality of the parish community through musical support of our liturgy, building and growing the choral capabilities of all choir members, and welcoming new members. The Music Director reports to the Rector, and works closely with staff and lay leaders to ensure the successful design and execution of our music program.
